Chase Pack 21 features 99-overall Awards Adrian Beltre, released on August 7. Beltre is the more practical choice for a roster lacking a dependable third baseman. His 116 contact against right-handed pitching, 121 contact against left-handed pitching, 120 clutch, 100 vision and 99 fielding support stable at-bats and reliable defense.

His 90 power against right-handers, 85 power against left-handers and 62 speed are useful rather than dominant. That profile favors players who value consistent contact and defensive security over maximum home-run output. If your bullpen already has several trustworthy late-inning arms, Beltre can improve more games than another reliever.

Chase Pack 19 is built for a different approach. Willie McGee offers switch hitting, 125 contact against both sides, 125 clutch, 99 speed, 99 stealing and 99 baserunning. His 90 fielding and 90 arm strength also make center field dependable. The limitation is 60 power against right-handers and 72 against left-handers, so he fits contact pressure and table-setting lineups better than swing-for-the-fences builds.

Buxton supplies explosive right-handed power and exceptional center-field range, but his 95 contact, 75 vision and 95 clutch demand more precise hitting. Chase Pack 17, featuring switch-hitting shortstop Geraldo Perdomo, is the flexible middle-infield option. His 100 contact against right-handers, 125 contact against left-handers, 115 clutch, 87 fielding and 68 speed are useful, although shortstop has heavier competition.

Protect Your Long-Term Resources

Do not let the newest release decide your spending order. Compare each featured card with your current starter, bench options and bullpen roles before using earned currency. Players building toward late-game competition should prioritize upgrades that remain useful in many matchups, while developing squads may gain more from a clear positional improvement.
